Description
I have been working with a combination of physical healing and energies for over 20 years through Reiki and Kinesiotherapy and Physical Rehabilitation. I am a Registered Reiki Practitioner with the International Association of Reiki Professionals. In my practice I do Reiki, and chakra balancing. Reiki challenges me on all levels and has offered amazing moments of grace, healing, and spiritual awareness. Reiki means “universal life force energy” and through the initiations or attunements given by the master teacher, others are opened up to receive and send Reiki energy for healing. Reiki is a gift of personal empowerment through spiritual connection. It is a great blessing to receive as well as give. Exercise, health and well being is a priority in my life and I regularly practice Yoga, Pilates, vegetarianism and Law of Attraction principles. I have in the past run a marathon, several half marathons and smaller races for charity events.
Profile and Credentials
Reiki is my passion. I love being a Reiki practitioner and sharing the wonderful gift of Reiki. I found Reiki at a time when I was feeling l lacked direction. After one Reiki session I was well on my way. Those around me noticed a new glow and positive attitude right away as I did too. I felt light in my thoughts, words and actions. I was able to step back and see the positive in everything I do. I began my Reiki training after that healing. I have been fortunate to study with a phenomenal Reiki Master, Ann Ehringhaus. I love being a student as well as a practitioner to keep learning new ways to use Reiki.
My Reiki Training includes, Usui Reiki First and Second Degree. I also have a bachelors degree in Kinesiotherapy, and exercise science with extensive continuing education in physical therapy practice and techniques, personal training, biomechanics, and ergonomics.
Philosophy and Comments
My philosophy of health and healing is to look at the whole person. There are many aspects to our existence. We have work, health, relationships, exercise, nutrition, and time to relax. If any part is out of balance, we become like a flat tire. Through my work in Reiki, I work with clients to find the areas out of balance and use whatever techniques I have been trained in to give them the tools to live a better life. When I give a Reiki treatment, I honor each client for the place they are at in their individual spiritual journey. Each journey is unique and individual. I am a support person for each client not only in treatment, but the journey they take after leaving a treatment.
Work Hours and Fee Schedule
In my private practice in Apex, NC, I have office hours by appointment only. A one hour Reiki session is $45.00. I also offer a package of 4 sessions for $160.00.
